I slowly whisper my story into the wind

Even if everything was dark around me
The only thing I saw was the light in front of me
A end to my pain
The end to my misery
And I smiled , day after day
Even if I felt suffocated by that one day
I never stepped away
Walking on the edge
On that tiny thread I balanced
And soon there were others near me
Making their way to a safe place
And I when they were on the edge
When they almost fell
I caught them and risked my balance
But I was there
I was there for all of them
Thats why I still smile
Because in the end
My heart is the thing that keeps me going forward
Grabbing every hand of every friend that is about to fall
