The Writing Hut

With all the problems in this world,
I am searching for the soul I once sold
Don’t look back, just walk straight
It’s not like I got anything else to do

This is about the things I do and the ones I don’t
Don’t take it the wrong way, but I just don’t see what you’ve got to say
It’s all about me after all, so why don’t you just leave me on my way
I said I won’t go yet, but I won’t stay for long
So long as you stay with me I think I will be on the right way

For all the things people stayand for all the things they do
This poem is not about them, not about you
It’s about me, but I am lazy.

  1. Interesting poem. The poem seems to indicate not seeing eye to eye with someone when you first start reading it. It wasn’t until I got to the end that I understood. You should consider having your work published.
