Poetry Month Poem #13: Lucky

The Writing Hut

We create the rules
But we don’t like rules
We enforce the rules
But we don’t like force

How lucky is a chick
That has no mind
Or a mouse that goes click
Lucky

Lucky is that prick
Who knows happiness
The secret to it
And every rule that goes with it

What a shame
If I wasn’t a human
Humans I could never blame
Lucky me
That humans molded me.
